This page explains, in plain language, what Tutorly collects, what we do with it, and which other companies are involved. We have tried to describe what actually happens rather than what sounds reassuring.
When you create an account, we collect:
If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name and email address from Google. Nothing else.
If you subscribe, our payment provider collects your phone number and payment details. Tutorly never sees or stores your card, UPI or bank information.
Your data is used only to:
Tutorly is run by one person, so some parts of the service are provided by other companies. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job. Here is the complete list:

We do not sell your data to any of these companies, and none of them are paid to advertise to you.
Tutorly includes an AI tutor you can chat with while studying. You should know how it works before you use it:
Your account and progress are stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure, on servers operated by Cloudflare. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. The other companies listed above store the data they receive on their own systems, under their own privacy policies.
We use two kinds of storage in your browser:
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell any of this data. If you would rather not be counted in analytics, most browsers let you block analytics cookies, and the site will still work normally.
You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by writing to [email protected]. We will process your request within 7 days. You can also ask us what data we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
Deleting your Tutorly account removes your data from our systems. Where another company on the list above still holds a copy — for example a payment record Razorpay is legally required to keep — we will tell you.
Tutorly is built for Class 11 and 12 students, who are usually 16 to 18 years old. Indian law requires a parent or guardian's consent before children under 18 give their personal data to a service like this.
If you are under 18, please use Tutorly with your parent or guardian's knowledge and consent. If you are a parent or guardian and want your child's data removed, write to us at the address below and we will delete it within 7 days.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
If we add a new feature that handles your data differently, or start using a new company, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be mentioned on the site.
